Akasha von Rothenburg is a stunning 9 month old German Shepherd. She was adopted as a puppy but because of the owner’s health issues Akasha has spent a great deal of time in doggy day care. For awhile Akasha was picked up at night and went home, but no longer. While all the other dogs were picked up each day, Akasha waited and waited hoping that one day someone would come for her. Could you be that someone? Akasha rides beautifully in the car, walks well on a leash, and she loves to play catch and tug-of-war. She is comfortable around children of all ages. Although, Akasha takes a little time to adjust to new dog friends, she would be fine with another dog mate. She will cock her head when you talk to her and seems to really be listening to your every word. We had Akasha and her littermates as pups along with their mother who was adopted by one of our volunteers. The other pups are thriving and the families keep us posted. They are a very smart set of pups. There are stories about the mom and her brilliance too which we're happy to brag about. These pups are gorgeous and brilliant - ask any of the their families! Because we know first hand just how special she is, we are asking $500 for this gorgeous and brilliant girl. Please no kitties.
