Atlas von Atting is a gorgeous 4-5-year-old long-haired German Shepherd. Handsome Atlas is smart, sweet and eager to please. He seems to be housebroken, too, which is a mega-plus.  He is a curious explorer who never passes up an opportunity to try something new. He walks well on the leash, though he is still getting used to city life in LA. He comes from a citrus growing area and is wondering what some of those sights and sounds are, like big busses or trucks roaring by. He can be strong, so needs someone with some strength!  When meeting other dogs, he prefers gradual introductions but ultimately does quite well. He does seem more comfortable in an off-leash environment, like in our play yard. He’s good about avoiding conflict with other dogs and, when there’s a natural fit, he’ll even play with a new pal. Atlas especially likes hanging out with calmer dogs who aren’t overly energetic. Ultimately, though, he usually winds up by his people’s sides, soaking up any attention he can get. A handsome fluffer-boy, he is looking for his forever home and hopes to meet you soon.
