Augustus von Augsburg is a classic 3 year old German Shepherd. He has the conformation of a German Shepherd from import lines with the straighter back. He has a big frame and needs to gain some weight. He is a stunning looking dog and is noticed everywhere he goes. He loves to sniff and check out things around the neighborhood of the kennel, the volunteers feel they are in good hands when they are with Augustus. He is okay with some female dogs but would have to be correctly introduced. He is attentive and is eager to learn. He likes toys; it seems incongruous to see such a regal looking dog carrying around a squeaky toy!
