Axel von Axel is a beautiful 5 year old sable German Shepherd. Along with his head-turning good looks, he has so many other wonderful qualities. He truly is a special guy. Axel gets great enjoyment from working with and pleasing his owner. He's responsive, alert, willing and ready to learn. He's already learned his basic commands and seems to be housebroken. Have treats in your pocket? Axel will gently nuzzle you until you give into him. Then, get ready for lots of kisses! In playgroups, he likes some dogs better than others but as with all dogs, proper introductions are the key. He loves hanging out with his Westside dog buddy, Sam. He'll relax and hang out with you but even when he's taking it easy, those superb, expert German Shepherd ears of his are always attuned to every little sound. He loved going on a hike with his Westside doggy buddies and paid no attention to people and children on the path. He needs some training walking on leash but he learns so quickly. His expression seems to say "did I do it right? Am I gonna get a treat?" Axel is intelligent. Axel is loyal. Axel is loving. He will be your best friend - always by your side - always devoted.
