Balco von Bamberg is a very handsome 14 month old German Shepherd.  Balco is so handsome his pictures are being used for some greeting cards. He has that classic look everyone thinks of when they think of a German Shepherd. He may have a look many people want but he isn’t a dog for everyone. Balco attaches quickly to his special person and then he is protective. He needs a strong alpha leader who will work with him and establish his role first before exposing him to people walking on the street or even visitors in their home. Balco learns super quickly and is so trainable. He must have had a bad experience with children, so he must be in a child free environment. He will alert to other dogs on leash, but is in a playgroup at the kennel. He would make a wonderful companion for someone experienced with strong willed dogs. He is very loyal and loving, his new person will be everything to him.
