Tails of Joy

Dakota is a gorgeous 2 year old, long haired German Shepherd. He is clearly from German import lines, he has the coloring that is popular in Western Germany. Dakota has a very good temperament, he is good with other dogs and eager and happy to meet new people. He didn't seem interested in a cat carrier with a kitten it it who was being rescued at the same time. Dakota walks well on the leash, but doesn't appear to have much training. He rides well in the car and enjoys jumping in the car. Dakota was lost and was picked up by animal control. The supervisor from the shelter was excited to tell us what she had for us. We have many people looking for long haired German Shepherds and don't find many. They typically have milder temperaments. Also, surprisingly, they do not shed as much as the shorter coated German Shepherds.
We are asking a donation of $500 which will go back to help other homeless German Shepherds.

See Dakota's new family on the Tails of Joy page.
