Elsa von Cheviot Hills
Adopted

Elsa von Cheviot Hills is only 10 weeks old , she was dying, her intestine had telescoped, she had a condition called intussusception.. It was so painful to look at Elsa, she was rail thin, she was so dehydrated her fur was stuck close to her rib cage, she felt like a feather, we were so worried for her. Fortunately, Dr. Wendy Brooks realized after taking x-rays that Elsa had a blocked intestine and would die shortly. She was rushed into surgery and ten inches of her intestine had to be removed. What a difference a day makes! Today after wolfing down 4 meals and drinking lots of water Elsa feels like a new puppy..She was even barking at other dogs! She will have to remain at Mar Vista Animal Hospital for a few more days to make sure everything continues so well We are so grateful to Dr. Brooks and the caring staff. Even with a rescue discount surgery like this is expensive, Elsa still needs your help!
