Izzy von Bakersfield is an over-sized 12 year old sweetheart. He knows he is on the plump side and would never win a beauty contest but he wants everyone to know that he has a heart of gold. Big Boy is way past his prime, he walks very slowly and might lose his balance if you turn corners too quickly. He doesn’t ask much to be happy, a warm place to rest and a hand to stroke him now and again. Lucky Big Boy is in a foster home with other dogs. His foster mom said he is a very well behaved house guest. He loves his soft bed and goes outside when he needs to. Everyday he gets a little more outgoing and even tries to play a little with the other dogs.

Older dogs are dumped all the time, when they need you most after a life time of devotion they are so often abandoned. We are so happy that Big Boy, who we thought was a girl at first, the former Isabel is doing well in her, I mean his foster home.
