Mike von Werdenberg is an exquisite 3 year old super bred German Shepherd. Mike looks like a German import with his conformation and extra large bone structure. He is well over a 100 pounds.
Anyone would have to look a long time to find a dog as spectacular as Mike. He is well behaved in a boarding situation and has been wonderful with the volunteers. He becomes protective of his new family when he is adopted. Mike needs someone experienced with German Shepherds, particularly the more dominant personality of the imports. Mike needs to feel responsible to his new owner, not responsible for them. He needs someone who will establish this bond before they bring him out and about to meet new people and put him in situations where he thinks he needs to protect his new family.He is housebroken and very affectionate with his family. He likes to sleep with his head on your shoulder.
