Ace von Achern is a gorgeous 14 month old German Shepherd. Ace is one of the happiest (and, may we say, handsomest?) pups you will ever meet! He is mid-to-high energy and very excitable - sometimes he needs to be reminded that saying hi does not need to entail jumping up and down. He jumps for joy too when he sees other dogs and is very eager to make new friends. A home where Ace is able to expend his energy through hikes and runs is ideal, since the happiest boy at Westside loves to be out and about! Ace still needs some basic training to remind him of his leash manners, since he likes to test his boundaries. Fortunately, Ace is smart and does listen very well. He is so ready to learn anything and would love to win a medal in obedience training class. Ace is confident in playgroups and can be dominant at times. He likes to play and gravitates towards nice, submissive playmates. Ace will fit well into any home that establishes boundaries with him in the beginning and tucks him into bed nightly after a long day of fun activities.
