Ace von Amor is a wonderful 16 month old classic German Shepherd. This sweet and mellow boy is a complete heart stealer. In his foster home, his favorite things are: cuddles, belly rubs and following his foster parents wherever they go. His foster parents are amazed at how quickly he adjusted to their busy household. He greets all of their frequent guests -- and even a couple of surprise visitors --politely and happily takes all the head rubs they dish out. Ace walks great on a loose leash, sometimes trotting a few steps ahead but always making sure everyone is headed in the right direction. He has attended some training classes with his Foster Mom and has learned his sit, down, stay and come, and loves being told that he’s a good boy. He rides wonderfully in the car and his fosters take him everywhere, from the café down the street to long roadtrips where he has shown nothing but the best manners when meeting all manner of new people from adults to toddlers. Ace is a confident dog that meets both small and large dogs politely. He stays clears of pushy types and prefers the company of dogs with his same easy-going demeanor. Ace is house trained, crate trained and would be a great fit in many homes. But what he’s really looking for is a home that will continue to take him on all manner of adventures (to Hikes, to the office, on vacations) and work with him to take his basic training skills to expert level.
