Adonis von Adorf is a beautiful 12 month old German Shepherd.  Adonis is a picture perfect Shepherd in appearance and he has a personality that will make you fall in love.  He's wonderfully affectionate and playful with his people,  following them around and tossing toys in their direction. Uneasy meeting new people, He bonds readily, especially with women.  His Foster Mom reports that once he settles in, "Truly, he is all you could ever want in a Shepherd."   He is loving, sensitive and looking for a patient home with to help gain confidence and ease his worries.  With kind leadership, Adonis listens well. Mid-energy, Adonis rarely pulls on leash and keeps up a good happy pace on walks. Adonis has had some very basic training and would do best in an experienced home without any small children as he might knock them over with his playful exuberance.  Around other dogs, big and small, Adonis is very friendly.  The play yard is where you see more of his puppy side as he loves to romp with friends and play with toys.  So he is not just looking for someplace to call home, but a family who will be his own, a place where he won’t be too idle or searching for his own adventures and with preferably another canine playmate or two to help guide him as well.
