Amadeus von Albar is a gorgeous 5 year old German Shepherd. Amadeus walks well on leash, tail wagging at all times. The sweet boy seems so happy to be out, we wish we could spend all day basking in the sun with him. We introduced Amadeus to a female shepherd mid-walk and he became attached to her and did not want to walk without her. Amadeus is new to Westside and still anxious in his new surroundings; he definitely seems to become more comfortable next to his four-legged friends. Amadeus has the perfect amount of energy; he can keep up on jogs and hikes but equally loves to hang out by your side. He particularly likes being petted from head to tail; once you stop, he will lean into your body to thank you. Some dogs enjoy people and some enjoy other dogs – Amadeus seems to love both. He is impressive in playgroup, gaining confidence immediately, and is even tolerant around high energy dogs. He likes watching his friends play and spends time running around the yard and then coming back to us for affection. Amadeus is incredibly well-socialized (why can’t all big males be the same way?) and would love to find his loving home soon. Having a doggy companion to play with all day would be icing on the cake.
