Amber von Apolda is a wonderful 18 month old petite sized German Shepherd mix. Just look at her face -- it looks like she is trying to read your lips in an attempt to understand what you are saying. This gorgeous girl is already housebroken and crate-trained. Amber likes children and gets along so well with other dogs that we want her to go to a home that has one or more already in residence. She will put her whole heart into playing games with you and will never turn down a chance to play fetch-the-ball. On warm days she especially likes to get wet, whether it be playing in the sprinklers or cooling off in the kiddie pool. Amber is currently going through "the terrible twos" (a few months ahead of schedule); she loves her toys and thinks that everything in sight falls into that category -- so she needs on-hands supervision/training until she sheds her "little rascal" behavior and becomes the well-mannered girl that we know she can be.
