Athena von Akin is a beautiful 2 year old German Shepherd on the smaller side. She has a lovely gait and a spectacular tail which she swings confidently. People can't help but stop on the street just to tell her how pretty she is. A very observant dog, she wants to be involved in anything and everything going on around her and lives to be with her people all the time. She loves playing fetch (especially if the ball squeaks) and is always up for a good game of tug of war. She's so light on her feet that with a little training, she would excel in agility classes. When she relaxes, she wants nothing more than to lie at your side and rest her head on your leg. She'd love a family with an active lifestyle and would prefer being the only dog in the household. Athena is fully housebroken. She'd do better with older kids because of her excitement she can knock down younger kids. She's good in the car, curls up in the back seat and sleeps most of the time. Loves meeting new people. She has a high prey drive so she needs a house without cats or little critters.
