Athena von Santa Monica is an adorable 6 week old German Shepherd mix.She weighs 4 ½ pounds, but her foster mom swears she gained at least a pound the first night.. She is mostly shepherd but her white toes give us a clue that there is a little something else mixed in for good health. Athena ended up in a shelter but was too young for them to care for, one of our volunteers happened to be there just at the right time. For such a little one Athena can put away a lot of puppy formula, don’t let her little size fool you. She is cuddly and social, she loves to be held and cries when you leave. She is in a foster family with young children. The little girl in the family is finally happy to be fostering a German Shepherd she can dress up with her doll clothes!
