Atlas von Malibu is a very handsome 14 month old German Shepherd. We rescued Atlas from the shelter with a broken leg after being hit by a car. His family came to get him but when they saw he had a broken leg they were no longer interested in him and left him at the shelter. Maybe it was fate, Atlas deserves a family who will be as loyal to him as he will be to them. He's an absolute sweetie pie and is a favorite at the vet's office. Our vet who fixed his leg even had his 1 year old son hang out with Atlas. He loved being petted and appreciated the attention. Atlas will heal fine, just like we would after a broken leg. He will wear the cast for a few weeks, but will be his old self in no time.We feel he will make an excellent companion to any family. Our volunteer couldn't even get him to look at the cat a few inches away from his face - so he looks like a good candidate for a home with kitties.
