Bessie von Best is a wonderful 5 year old German Shepherd. This lovely girl with the most soulful eyes is so easy to love. She is a dream to walk and always happy to be by your side. A mid-energy girl, Bessie loves going on her walks but is equally happy snuggling on the couch with you. She is far from shy and is a complete love bug with people she meets, adding a bounce to her step when someone offers to play with her. Around new people and other dogs, she is extremely easy-going and will fit in any home as if she has been there all her life. Bessie scored perfect marks in playgroups but her ideal afternoon is lounging under a shady tree with her favorite people. She prefers to leave the dog-park romping to the younger dogs. Bessie gets along with both large and small dogs, and has had a good first cat test. She loves accompanying you to brunch with friends or just general errand running, and her patient demeanor makes her easy to take around town. She is not possessive of toys or food and is extremely obedient and quick to learn. Bessie is the perfect dog all around and she is waiting for a home who will be as kind and loving to her as she is to you – this girl sure deserves to be pampered.
