Bishop (aka Cappy) von Carlow is a stunning 2 year old long haired German Shepherd. This handsome blond boy is looking for someone special to be his guide. Bishop comes to us with a great report card on house manners (inc. being housebroken), and has done well in the company of cats. However, when presented with new situations, Bishop’s first instinct is to head in the other direction. For that reason, Bishop is seeking a home with kind and patient people who don’t mind showing him the way. Cuddles and sweet talk don’t always work with Bishop, but rather a confident leader who gives him the time and space that he requires to acclimate. Within not too long a time, Bishop comes up to you and lays at your side, secure in the calmness of your presence. While a little apprehensive on leash, Bishop does well off leash with other dogs. He meets them politely and knows well enough when to give a pushy dog some room. He mostly hangs back in the play yard with an eye on you. Bishop is still quite young and very loving, so he has a lot to give a home that is prepared to give him their best as well.
