Black Jack von Zocken is a stunning 8 month old German Shepherd. He walks well on leash but, being super-excited to explore his surroundings, he tends to pull a bit in the beginning. One correction, however, stops him from doing so. Black Jack is a sweet boy who so wants to please you that, if you need to correct him, he lies down on the floor looking like his feelings have been hurt. He is very loving, enjoys cuddling and will stand close when you stop to chat with a neighbor during your daily walk. He enters playgroups very excitedly and somewhat unsure, and doesn’t display the best of manners when meeting other dogs. He over-reacted with another male dog but responded to a quick correction, after which he invited a female to do some rough-housing that proved too much for her. Black Jack just needs to be socialized more with other dogs and learn better manners, both on leash and in the play yard; fortunately he is very sensitive to correction.
