Boomer von Bautzen is a very handsome 18 month old sable Shepherd mix. Despite his “rascal” good looks, Boomer is actually more serious than playful. When going for a walk, he meets other dogs politely yet gives them their space; towards the end of the walk he likes to sit at your feet and hear about your day. Described by our kennel techs as a “sweetheart,” Boomer is low-to-mid energy yet always alert and curious. In playgroups, Boomer gives off his usual calm confidence and is more a spectator than a participant. He likes to explore on his own and hang out with his humans. He would probably be great in a home with an older, non-pushy dog. This sweet boy seems wise beyond his years and any home will be lucky to adopt our resident Zen Master.
