Candy von Klaus is an adorable, smaller sized 10 month old Lab mixed with a smaller breed. Would you believe that her owner moved away and left her in the back yard? Despite her abandonment by people she trusted, Candy is so happy when we approach her kennel that her wagging tail shakes her whole body. We can tell she was not socialized in her early months because she is frightened by loud noises and sudden movements – behaviors which should disappear with gradual exposure. Initially shy when she first meets you, once comfortable her tail starts going, her confidence grows and her “happy” becomes apparent. Candy seems confident around all dogs regardless of their energy level or personality. Once you meet her, you will fall in love.
