Cane von Calvorde is a very handsome 3 year old German Shepherd.  This friendly boy is an absolute cutie! Cane is a high-spirited and adaptable dog who revels in going out for new adventures and will lead you far and wide, if you let him.  Cane is a big boy who loves people.  He is very social and looks for attention. We were told he is already housebroken, and loves toys, playing fetch, water, hikes, and car rides.  (He can jump a 5ft fence so does need a taller fence or not to be left alone in the yard.) He also does well around dogs -- male or female, big or small – anyone who can tolerate his energy.  He enjoys pack walks and off leash is comfortable in our doggie play yard.  However, Cane is no bully.  He stays out of trouble and will often just mind his own business while the puppies play.  For fun, Cane prefers hiking trails or splashing in the pool.  Cane is looking for an active home, near or far, that is willing to keep up with him -- one that will teach him new things, like good leash manners.  If you like to hike, jog, run, walk or any other spirited activity, Cane will be the perfect companion!
