Cassie von Nelson is a petite long hair beauty with a dark expressive face. Cassie came from an area with a lot of breeders and even though the shelter called her owners they never came for this sweet gentle soul. Cassie is learning her indoor doggie manners and appears to be housebroken. She loves to follow her foster parents around or is content to lie at your side. She is good with other dogs as long as she is introduced properly. It might be more of a challenge for her with cats, we are not sure. Cassie is sweet, loving and easy to train. She responds to corrections quickly and is learning to walk on a leash and sleep in a crate. Cassie is about 18 months old and needs to gain about 15 to 20 pounds. We think Cassie would do best in a home with another friendly dog or with someone who is home most of the time. We are asking a $400 donation for Cassie to help with her care and the care of all her friends that are patiently waiting for their forever homes too.
