Catina von Caro is a stunning 2 year old German Shepherd.  Catina has a story to tell you: “Hi, my name is Catina.  I am one of the lucky foster dogs who live in a home with a wonderful temporary mom and dad, and a multitude of fur siblings that include big dogs, small dogs and cats!  But my story wasn’t always a happy one.  You see, my first owners never vaccinated me, subjecting me to a scary illness known as distemper.  I was at the vet for months and on the brink of death multiple times; people were already referring to me in the past tense.  But one day, I decided that I wanted to survive.  I lifted my head and tried to eat the chicken that they brought to me, and the vet owner was jumping with delight when she saw.  I have come a long way since that day - I had to learn how to walk from scratch!  I am now a happy, healthy girl and ready to get adopted.  I don’t need extra medical care, just someone who loves me for who I am.  I am housebroken, the sweetest thing you’ll ever meet (that’s what foster mom says), and a “walking plush toy.”  I like to follow foster mom around and am usually found lying by her side.  I am a really easy-going girl and I can get along with anyone.  I hope that an application comes in for me; I would be so happy!"
