Cherokee von Rottenburg is a gorgeous 18 month old black and red long haired German Shepherd.The black and red are popular in the western part of Germany. Cherokee prances and is so light on his feet, it is as if he has wings. He is so beautiful to watch with his silky, flowing fur and his beautiful spirit. Cherokee is friendly and well behaved. He is a dog who can walk into a crowded veterinary office and quietly find his place between dogs of all sizes and wait his turn. Cherokee looks as if he has had good care, but had some kind of injury to his skin recently only on his face. We did skin tests which came out negative. He is getting better quickly, so we aren't worried about it. Cherokee is a lovely dog inside and out. Most of our long haired dogs fly out of state . Cherokee has his bags packed just in case.
