Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles is a non profit 501(c)3, no kill rescue committed to saving all types of German Shepherd Dogs from high kill shelters and adopting them to loving, qualified homes.

Chloe von Fraulein

Chloe von Fraulein is a striking looking 14 month old black German Shepherd. (We were tempted to name her Black Beauty because of her smooth, glistening coat.) She is still trying to figure out what happened to her former family and why she is sharing a kennel with 75 other dogs. Still getting used to her new environment, she comes out of her kennel a bit shy but, after you talk with and pet her for a few minutes, her friendly personality becomes apparent by way of doggie kisses and, yes, even bear hugs. Of medium energy, Chloe is alert and calm around other dogs; she enters a doggie playgroup with confidence and introduces herself to each dog, eventually becoming the social butterfly in the group. She walks great on leash and is happiest when she has another dog walking with her.
