Cody von Colpin is a stunning, larger sized 2 year old German Shepherd mix who is remarkable for his easygoing demeanor and quiet confidence around both other dogs and humans. Once you know that Cody came to us after being shot and left in a ditch to die, with only one other noble Shepherd for company, you cannot help but be impressed by this magnificent dog’s courage and sincere belief that people aren’t all bad. Cody is a gentleman on leash. He doesn’t pull; he walks happily with other dogs and is delighted to explore. In playgroups, he is confident, calm and curious. Other dogs seem to respect his confident nature and Cody does  well with females and other dogs who accept his leadership status. With humans, Cody is most content. He sits quietly by his people, soaking up all the affection that he craves. He seeks out loving people and puts his trust in them.
