Columbus von Claus is a very cute little 12 month old Taiwanese Mountain dog. This super-smart guy is quick to learn, already responding to sit, stay, down and roll over. Give a whistle and he comes running. Friendly and active, Columbus will make a good jogging partner. He runs great on leash but can still use a little training to walk on leash in a mannerly way. Columbus is somewhat selective in the dogs he likes – okay with some but aggressive towards others – so the local dog park is not for him at this time. House-trained and crate-trained, the only activity he likes more than playing with his toys is sleeping in bed with you at night or riding with you in the car. Columbus will make a great alarm system for your home; he barks loudly when the bell rings but, once you welcome the person, he will give him a sniff and welcome him as well.
