Treatment is expensive, there are so many right now and our resources are low after the holidays. Dax von Salermo is another magnificent German Shepherd who suffered so much from ignorance and neglect. Children held their noses when they walked into the vet hospital, they could smell Dax’s rotting skin across the waiting room. We always ask how this can happen? We have pictures of Dax’s AKC parents standing for their show pictures, they look how he should look, handsome and regal. We have his American Kennel Club papers and the Deutsche Schaferhunde Verein evaluation. Dax is trained in German and responds to his commands immediately. How is it that someone goes through this effort and expense to get a dog like Dax, but when he gets a skin infection all the owner did was spray him with Fly Off and then were perplexed that he just didn’t get better! Our boarding bills take up whatever we get from adoption fees, the dogs have to rely on our supporters for veterinary care. Can you please help them?
