Dieter von Diernas is a delighftul 12 month old German Shepherd. Our dude Dieter is a catch! He is always ready for anything. Playing is one his favorite pastimes, and he has the time of his life meeting new playful friends in doggy playgroups.  He likes to avoid dominant males, though and has been known to bark at another dog out on a walk, but then is quickly responsive when admonished. Dieter could use some basic leash training, but that’s just because his knack for exploring the world around him sometimes makes him forget that he might be pulling you in different directions. Kids are not a problem for Dieter, as we were told he is sweet and kind with them. He also may be housebroken.  He loves his people and can’t wait to find a family he can protect and care for, for the rest of his life. Dieter would thrive in a cat-free home in- or  out-of-state.
