Drake von Deuna is a very handsome 7-8 year-old German Shepherd. A wonderfully sweet and mellow boy, Drake is gentle, friendly, attentive and affectionate with his people. He was in a foster home for a week before coming to us, and was well-mannered in the home.  He takes treats gently, is wonderful on a walk, coming out of the kennels cool and calm, and enjoying his time outside. He may not romp like a puppy – he prefers a leisurely pace - but Drake is still happy to explore. He meets other dogs calmly and unhurriedly.  He very much enjoys affection from his handler and others, and prefers a calm energy around him, but doesn't mind playful dogs. Drake does really well in playgroups, entering calmly and intent on exploring the yard. He meets other dogs well and  whether you live in California or far away, if you’ve been looking for a handsome, calm and mature boy, you have just found him in Drake!
