Emmy von Emden is a beautiful 3-4 year old German Shepherd. This gorgeous girl with the bright brown eyes wants you to know that she is much more than just a pretty face. Emmy has had a rough start to life (she was found chained outside in the heat), but does not let that deter her from being happy or trusting humans. She is mid-energy and walks great on leash, exiting her kennel confidently, and is great next to other dogs as well. With more pushy or hyper dogs, she chooses to walk the other way to avoid confrontations. Emmy is one of the easiest dogs to love, she receives and gives affection readily, and is so appreciative of her humans. She seems easily comfortable in new surroundings, and despite what she has gone through, is so incredibly well-behaved. Emmy enters her playgroup in her usual easy-going manner, and is confident around other dogs. She warned a dominant female away, but is otherwise wonderful with all the dogs. Emmy is a prime example of the resilience of her breed, and she just can’t wait to find an amazing forever home who will shower her with the affection that she deserves.
