Enzo von Esslingen is a 3 year old, absolute gem of a German Shepherd.  He walks by your side on the leash, will "sit" for treats, and also knows "down".  He is a large shepherd and very intimidating looking, but Enzo just wants to lay his head in your lap while you rub his belly.  He is sometimes reactive to other dogs when he is on a leash and will need to be adopted by someone who knows Shepherds and can work with him a little bit.  He is highly intelligent, makes great eye contact, and is easily corrected.  He responds very quickly to positive reinforcement.  Enzo would make an outstanding companion for someone who goes on walks frequently and wants to feel safe.  He looks like a tough guy, but he is really very much a love bug.  He will definitely form a very strong bond with his family and will be a very loyal and loving companion.  Enzo is definitely an Alpha Male personality but gets along just fine with the other dogs at the kennel, and is fine in a play group.  Come meet Enzo, wrap your arms around his big neck, and fall in love.
