Franz von Lancaster
Our big handsome boy was abandoned in the far eastern Antelope Valley, it is desert far from any major road. He was dumped there by the people he loved; he waited and waited for them. He wouldn’t move from the spot. He was only left there so he would die, this way his owners could save the $5 they would have to pay if they relinquished him at a shelter. Someone brought him some water, later a good Samaritan found him and took him home to her ranch. Franz von Lancaster is 3 years old. He is from German breeding lines, we can tell by his conformation. He has the straight solid back and heavier bone structure. He is a well bred dog. We found out Franz was micro-chipped to someone in Van Nuys, when she was called she said she had given him to someone and wasn’t moved by his story and was uninterested in taking him out of a high kill shelter. Franz is still mourning his horrible family, he is so sweet but sad. When we were trying to get pictures, some business owner came out to admire him, Franz gave him a slight tail wag, but that is the most we have seen from him. We have the best families who want to adopt, we know Franz has a great life ahead of him, he has no idea how wonderful it will be to have a family that will return his love and devotion |
