Gottie is as sweet as they come and what a face! Every once in a while we rescue a dog that is so wonderful, that the volunteer calls with step by step descriptions of each new and great thing they discover about the newly rescued dog. Gottie is one of those dogs. Gottie got to meet children, an aggressive Chihuahua and horses, every time he was put in a new situation he was a complete " gentleman." Gottie was left at a shelter with the other family pet, a Golden Retriever, when Golden Retriever Rescue took the Golden, Gottie cried and pawed the gate to go after her. The last of his family was leaving him, too! so we think he'd be happier with a pack-mate. One of the volunteers was haunted thinking about Gottie, so she contacted us. The shelter held on to Gottie for two weeks, they knew too that he is so wonderful and would be a gift to some family. Gottie is very easy going and mellow. He is housebroken too. He loves to go for a ride in the car and settles right down. If Gottie has any fault it is loving food a little too much. Other than being a little fuller figured, 4 year old Gottie is perfect!
