Gunther von Brink is 4 years old and the quintessential German Shepherd, when most people picture the ideal German Shepherd they would conjure up images of Gunther. Not only is Gunther everything someone would want their shepherd to look like but he also has the easy going temperament everyone wants to go along with the classic hunk look .He is probably close to 100 pounds. Gunther is so sweet and so cooperative. We introduced him to a tough cat and Gunther quietly walked away hoping the cat wouldn’t follow him. The volunteer who saw Gunther in the shelter was touched by how sweet he was to other dogs who came to share his kennel. At times they were even snuggled up together for comfort. A volunteer was still giving Gunther a quick brushing for his pictures, but he jumped the gun and was already posing, doing his show stance. Gunther was smiling ear to ear after being in the shelter for a month and now back to green grass
and some good friends.
Now all Gunther needs is a wonderful forever home.
