Gus von Gage is the sweetest 2-3 year old Lab mix. So what’s all the fuss about Gus? Well, besides being hunky and handsome, this good-natured Lab mix walks great on leash, wagging his tail while prancing down the sidewalk. He may not have been walked regularly in his past life because he is not used to busses passing or seeing some obstacle in his path; he stops and stiffens until he feels more comfortable (this should lessen as his exposure increases). Low-to-mid-energy Gus wants to be your companion. He was lying next to one of our volunteers and, when she moved elsewhere in the room, he got up to move next to her, placing his head on her lap. He gets along with all the dogs in his canine playgroup except the high-energy ones.
