Our big beautiful puppy continues to make progress, everyday he seems to be more aware of his surroundings. Instead of wanting to be by himself in a corner of the garden he opts slowly to join the family. Hans has learned that people can give him love and affection plus great things to eat, like his favorite cheese omelets. Hans has learned to come when called and to give kisses. Hans continued to have seizures until his medication was adjusted to the correct level. For the last week he has been seizure free. His entire blood work cam back normal so we know that his organs are functioning as they should. Hans still has a way to go but we feel so fortunate that a lovely couple flew down from Northern California to meet Hans. They fell in love with him then rented an SUV so he would be comfortable for the ride home. Hans is now called Chase, because he still runs as if something is chasing him. However, sometimes it is his new buddy and brother Rocky. Chase’s new family promises us lots of pictures! Thank you to his new family and to all of you for your concern.
