Hawk is a magnificent 3 year old long haired German Shepherd. We can tell from his conformation that he is from German import lines, he has the straighter back and a more massive face. Hawk is also a very big boned guy. He is still slender, but could easily weigh 95 pounds. Hawk, formerly Sweeney, is great with other dogs and cats; he is also fine with horses. He is housebroken and well behaved in the house. He has some obedience training. Hawk is boarded at a veterinary hospital and is great with the staff, he is good with the volunteers and well behaved on the street when meeting new people. Hawk was adopted, but became too protective of the woman who adopted him. We feel Hawk would do better with an experienced male owner, who he felt he didn't have to protect so much.
