Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Heather von Kern is an adorable 10 month old German Shepherd/Husky mix. She ended up in the shelter with a broken leg which dramatically reduced her chances of getting adopted in an already high kill shelter. We just couldn't leave her behind, and snapped her up along with several shepherds we rescued that day. We had x-rays done and her leg is healing very well, the cast is coming off in 6 weeks. All this doesn't seem to bother Heather at all, and we like to refer to her as Miss Personality. She is a friendly, happy puppy with a soft thick coat and fun personality. She is good with other dogs and will pretty much fit into any situation.
