Heidi von Hennef is a wonderful 8 year old German Shepherd who has found herself abandoned at this point in her life, possibly because her eyesight is poor. The wonder of these mature dogs are that they are usually calm, mellow, easy, loving and probably housebroken. Heidi is a gentle, sweet girl who loves humans and who trusts you to guide her on walks simply by applying some slight tension on her leash. Heidi knows her basic commands and excels as a friendly companion who enjoys being a passenger in your car or a devoted companion at your feet while you work away on your computer. She likes the company of other calm dogs and does well walking next to them.
