Hiro von Hambach is a gorgeous 18 month old German Shepherd whom our trainer describes as “chill." He seems mature for his age, meeting people with a gentle, loving nature and an eager-to-please attitude.  He is great with female dogs, breaking into playful "play bows" and has a push-pull play style. He likes the less rowdy play groups, but adjusts to other dogs. He  does well with our trainers, walks well on leash, knows some commands, has recall, is very treat-motivated and already knows "sit" and "shake." We  know Hiro was loved and well-cared for, we can see he was someone’s best buddy. He loved riding along with one of our trainers in his truck. He ended up in an animal shelter through no fault of his own; the volunteers there didn’t let us forget he was a very special dog. No kitties or small dogs, and best placed only with a female dog if there's another dog in the home.
