Holly von Kern is a classic looking black and tan 3 year old German Shepherd. She is well socialized with people and other dogs. Holly comes right out of the kennel ready to greet anyone with a smile and a tail wag. She walks well on the leash and has been good walking with other dogs on leash also. She shares a run with another dog and is well behaved in the play group with twenty other dogs. Holly has a short neat coat and would be easy to groom. She loves treats and is very food motivated. She remembers her commands very quickly if you have a chicken strip for her. She will work for food. We took her into a room with cats; she sniffed and then looked away, searching for kitty food. We can do another cat test; we feel she would be one who could learn as long as her new family followed our suggestions for introducing a cat to a new dog.
Holly would make a wonderful family dog; she seems to have the perfect temperament.
