Honey von Heimweh is a classic looking 8 year old German Shepherd. Honey is 82 pounds and lean, but she is the easiest thing in the world to walk. It is so delightful to take her on a walk, she just strolls and you can hold the leash with your baby finger. She was fostered by a family with young children and cats, nothing bothers Honey, she is mellow and loving. All she asks is a soft bed and someone to adore. Her foster mom promised her that her fancy bed is hers to take to her new home. She is fine with all dogs and just lets young pups know she is not interested in playing. Every once in a while she will grab a ball but mostly she likes to follow her foster mom from room to room and sleep by her feet. Honey isn’t a big fan of being outdoors, at least now in the cold. She does her business and then she is ready to go right back inside. She is not a fan of the rain either. We don’t think Honey lived the life of a princess before but she is ready to spend her senior years being spoiled rotten. Honey is asking everyone who reads about her to spread the word and see if together we can find her a forever home.
