Hunter von Holmes is a striking 2 year old red and black German Shepherd. This gorgeous boy with the cutest floppy ears sure wonders how he ended up in the shelter! If he seems a little shy in the beginning, it takes him all of five seconds to become affectionate. Mid-to-high energy Hunter walks well on leash, rarely pulling. Our kennel workers describe him as “sweet and easy-going, impossible not to fall in love with.” With some time his confidence and happiness really start to show, and it is so heart-warming to see him smile and wag. Hunter makes the most of our doggie playgroups - he absolutely loves all the females. Our even-tempered sweetheart will be happy in any home that can provide lots of love and activity – splashing in a kiddie pool and chasing the spray from a hose are two of his favorite things.
