Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Keystone von Merrill is a stunning 4 year old black and red long haired German Shepherd. He is a large boy, he is at least 100 lbs with legs like posts and huge paws. Keystone was left by his owners in the overnight cage at the shelter, which is always hard for us to understand. He has a sweet personality, he rides very well in the car and walks well on leash. He knows some of his commands and just loves to play ball. He is in great shape and looks well taken care of, which again makes us just shake our heads, how and why anyone would want to give him up. He is a typical German Shepherd who is aloof at first but warms up to people pretty quickly. By the time our volunteer dropped him off at our boarding place, he had his head in her lap enjoying some ear scratches. Keystone is good with other dogs and will make a wonderful addition to any family.
