Lady Jane von Leer

Lady Jane von Leer is a stunning 3 to 4 year old German Shepherd, maybe some kind of Nordic breed mix. She is smaller and broader than a German Shepherd. She is so easy, best foster her foster parents ever had. She is completely silent, never barks, she is very respectful of other dogs, needs to be surrounded by dogs, that is her comfort zone. She had decided that the male dog in the family recovering from orthopedic surgery is her duty to care for, he sleeps in his dog bed, she sits next to him like she is on duty. He gets up, she gets up. She likes the canine female in the family also, just needs dogs. She loves her humans but once in a while she comes for a pet but mostly she wants to be with her pack. If you ask for her paw, it is the cutest thing ever, she kind of bows as she gives you her paw. She is housebroken also, perfect in the house, perfect on the leash. She needs other dog(s) in her new home for sure. Even with access to the whole house, she must have been trained to stay in the kitchen; she has to be coaxed to watch television in the den with the foster family. Her family didn’t come for her after she wandered away and ended up in a shelter, they had no fencing. She is totally fine in her foster home even with low fencing in sections. Her foster home in West L.A. welcomes visitors, the rescue is terrifying for this gentle soul, it is better to see her happy with a big smile on her face enjoying her temporary home so you can fall in love too.
