Larry was abandoned by his family and left to fend for himself in a canal bed that was just a little too steep for this clever boy to escape. His nights were cold, and he often went without food - but Larry held it together, and soon help was on the way! This gentle guy has been overwhelmed by the love and warmth he has found with Westside - not to mention the treats! He is a lover of humans and dogs - even after those long, hopeless nights, Larry doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. As he watches his friends at the rescue go home with their families one at a time, Larry tells us that he is just waiting for someone who understands how special he is.
