Libby von Lunden is a gorgeous 10-11 month old German Shepherd, perfect for you Shepherd fans who want only a black one.  This housebroken beauty connects with people fast and is generous with her affection.  Libby’s been around school-aged children and will watch them do their homework as long as they are willing to play ball with her afterwards;  she’s an enthusiastic ball-catcher, whether it be in your living room or way in the outfield.  Libby is fairly easy to  walk on leash but quick to display her vigilance when seeing other dogs, sometimes barking at them  (this is a behavior that can be corrected in training).  Like many dogs, Libby howls when she hears a siren, sounding much like an opera soprano reaching for those high notes; we can’t help but smile.  Right now she is somewhat selective about which other dogs she likes, so Westside will be working to socialize her more.
